The Care of Your Jewel

Each MEIR piece is made by hand in our Jaipur atelier, set with precision, and finished to be worn. A little care preserves its brilliance for years to come.

Everyday Wear

Put your jewelry on last, after perfume, lotion, and hairspray have dried. Remove it before swimming, bathing, exercising, sleeping, or manual work.

Storage

Store each piece separately in its MEIR pouch or case. Close chains and lay them flat to avoid tangling.

Cleaning

Gently wipe your piece with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear. For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water, mild pH-neutral soap, and a soft brush. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals.

What to Avoid

Avoid impact, extreme temperature changes, prolonged sun exposure, chlorine, and abrasive cleaning agents. Pearls and softer or porous gemstones should only be wiped.

Annual Inspection
